1) About Peekaboo Place

Peekaboo Place sells baby and kids fashion items and related accessories through our website and official channels.

2) Eligibility to order

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.

3) Product information and availability

  • We do our best to display product descriptions, sizes, colors, and photos accurately. However, slight differences can occur due to lighting and device screens.
  • Product availability can change at any time. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and offer a replacement option or refund.

4) Pricing

  • Prices are shown in NGN unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices may change without notice, but your order will be charged at the price displayed at checkout.

5) Order confirmation and acceptance

  • After you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation. This does not guarantee acceptance.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order where necessary, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock issues, or delivery limitations. This approach is common across major e-commerce terms.

6) Payments

We accept payments via the payment options displayed at checkout.
For bank transfer orders, your order may remain pending until payment is confirmed.

7) Shipping and delivery

  • Delivery timelines shown at checkout are estimates and may vary due to logistics, traffic, weather, public holidays, or courier delays.
  • Delivery is considered complete when the order is marked delivered by the courier or received by you or someone you authorize at the delivery address.

8) Customer responsibilities at delivery

To avoid issues, please:

  • Inspect your package as soon as you receive it.
  • If there is visible damage to the outer package, take clear photos immediately before opening.
  • Keep original packaging until you are sure you will not be requesting a return.

9) Returns, refunds, and exchanges

10) Promotions and discounts

  • Discount codes are subject to validity periods and conditions.
  • We may cancel discounts if misused, duplicated, or applied incorrectly due to technical issues.

All content on this website including text, images, logos, and product photos belongs to Peekaboo Place or our licensors. You may not copy, reuse, or resell our content without written permission.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peekaboo Place will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products. Our liability, where applicable, will not exceed the amount paid for the item(s) in dispute.

13) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be handled in the courts with jurisdiction in FCT, Nigeria.

14) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on our website with the effective date.

Peekaboo Place Returns, Refunds, and Exchange Policy (24-hour window)

This policy explains when we accept returns and how refunds or exchanges work.

1) Return window

  • You must request a return within 24 hours of receiving your item.
  • Requests made after 24 hours will not be accepted, except where required by law.

How we determine “received”: the time the courier marks the item delivered, or the time you or your authorized recipient takes delivery.

2) Return eligibility conditions

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused, unworn, unwashed, and free from stains, perfume, deodorant marks, or damage.
  • In original condition, with tags and labels intact where applicable.
  • Returned with original packaging and all included accessories or freebies.

3) Items we do not accept for return

For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns for:

  • Innerwear, underwear, socks, tights, bodysuits worn directly on skin (if applicable)
  • Items marked “Final Sale”, “Clearance”, or “Non-returnable”
  • Gift cards or digital products (if applicable)

4) Valid reasons for return (what we accept)

We accept return requests only for:

  1. Wrong item received
  2. Wrong size sent (meaning the size you received is different from what you ordered)
  3. Item arrived damaged or defective (for example: torn seams, broken parts, dents for hard goods, or manufacturing defects)
  4. Missing item(s) from your package

5) What is NOT considered “damage” or “defect”

We do not treat the following as defects:

  • Minor color differences due to screen display
  • Slight packaging dents that do not affect the product’s usability (for non-fragile items)

If you receive the correct item and size ordered but the size does not fit as expected, we allow a size exchange only, subject to the following conditions:

  • The exchange request must be made within 24 hours of receiving the item.
  • The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • All tags, labels, and original packaging must be intact.
  • The requested exchange size must be available in stock.
  • If the requested size is unavailable, we may offer an alternative size, store credit, or another suitable option.
  • Refunds are not issued for size dissatisfaction where the correct size was delivered.

6) How to request a return (within 24 hours)

To request a return, contact us within 24 hours via:

Send:

  • Order number
  • Item name
  • Reason for return
  • Clear photos or short video showing the issue, including packaging if damaged

7) Return approval and instructions

If your request is approved:

  • We will provide return instructions and where to send or drop off the item.
  • Do not send items back without approval, as we may be unable to process them.

8) Return shipping costs

  • Customer covers return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a verified defect.

9) Inspection

All returned items are inspected before any refund or exchange is processed. Refunds are typically processed after inspection confirms original condition.

If the item is returned:

  • Used, worn, washed
  • With missing tags or damaged packaging
  • With stains, odor, or damage not reported within the window
    then the return will be rejected and the item may be sent back to you.

10) Refunds

If your refund is approved after inspection:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible, or via bank transfer if needed.
  • Refund processing time: 3 to 7 business days after inspection and approval.

11) Exchanges

  • Exchanges are allowed only for eligible items returned within 24 hours and in original condition.
  • If the requested replacement is unavailable, we will offer an alternative or refund.

12) Order cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled before they are shipped.
  • Once shipped, cancellations are treated under the Returns Policy.
